Gridlock in New York, Neon Flow in Hong Kong, Parade Line in Barcelona, a rink shootout in Toronto and Scooter Flow in Ho Chi Minh City.
Beat a minigame keeper and its game joins the Minigames page: 30 levels each, up to three stars a level, and a ranking under a nickname if you pick one.
The friends you help in a minigame say thank you at the end, while their neighbours cheer.
Stage progress is a Flight trail: one stop per Stage, your plane on the current one and a star when every Stage is flown.
Pick a trail for your plane, like Sakura Petals or Carnival Confetti.
Each Stage has new looks, and a Stage reset card starts one again.
Keepers wind up before they strike, and crack with gold kintsugi when you get past.
Menus, the map and the Atlas have an Illustrated Paper look.
Fewer crashes and less memory use on long trips.
A Story button on the title, a stamp trail in the Journal and a Contents page for Main Quests.
Go there opens the city's card, with a travel page while the city downloads.
Émile, Imani and Hana move their mouths in time with their voices.
City downloads are smaller. Cities you have flown stay for 30 days (up to 120 MB), and stalled downloads recover.
Gifts reveal your new plane look in flight.
Menu and Missions buttons, volume sliders, and Back closes the top layer first.
Stage 2 and 3 quests now start in every city with a resident.
Émile, Imani and Hana now speak when you talk with them, in English voices.
Each city has one page, with pips for its Stages. A Story or Practice card comes before each flight.
Open the Travel journal from Menu.
Reward icons, a note on keepers you haven't beaten yet, a lamp in Toronto and new idle moves for the keepers.
The Unfinished Song is now The Story of the Melancholy Melody, with a story card, a Finale card and an Events book.
Chat with residents you have met from the city card.
Missions has Main Quests, Daily and Sign-in tabs. Tap a row to act.
Paper Skyline has a new app icon and logo, and Back in the Workshop returns to your flight.
Every city now has three Stages, each with tougher keepers. Your Easy, Medium and Hard clears count as Stage 1 done.
Meet Émile in Paris, Imani in New York and Hana in Tokyo. Their quests open Stages 2 and 3 and change their cities.
Menus are notebook pages. The Chapter page paints each city as you go, and Missions lists tasks for every city.
Relics now come from quests, and the globe shows how ready your plane is for each city.
