Terms of use

The short version

• Play the game on your own devices, as much as you like.
• Don't pull it apart and sell the pieces.
• It is a paper plane game, offered as it is, with no promises about anything.
• Nothing here takes away a right your own country's consumer law gives you.

Your licence

Installing Paper Skyline gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play it on devices you own or control, for as long as you like. You do not own the game itself; LLOG does, along with its name, its artwork, its code and the way it looks and sounds.

What you may not do

• Copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game or any part of it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law expressly says you may.
• Remove or obscure any notice of ownership.
• Publish a modified version, or pass any part of it off as your own work.

Recording your own play and publishing it — streams, videos, screenshots, articles — is welcome and needs no permission from anyone.

The game as it is

Paper Skyline is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. It is a game about throwing a folded piece of paper; it makes no promise to be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and none is implied. Where your local law does not permit a disclaimer this broad, it applies only as far as that law allows.

Money

There is nothing to buy in Paper Skyline today: no purchase, no subscription, no currency sold for real money. If that ever changes, these terms are updated and published before anything goes on sale, and any purchase would be handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms — including their refund policies, which are the ones that would apply.

Availability and changes

The game may be updated, changed, or withdrawn from a store. Save data lives on your device, so an update does not take your progress; uninstalling does. We may revise these terms, and the version number and date at the top of this page say when we last did.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, LLOG is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising out of playing the game, and its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which LLOG is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your own local courts.
